Alicea is our head trainer and the owner of Barks and Rec.  she has been training professionally for more than 20 years.  Alicea is a Licensed Vet Tech and has experience training a wide variety of animals but dogs are her favorite.  

She is a national speaker at veterinary conferences as well as a published author.  She loves teaching animal behavior and training to both humans and their best friends.   In her free time she loves traveling the national parks and teaching her Whippet to play agility and Rally.
