Dog Agility Training
at Barks and Rec.

Barks and Rec. is the ONLY dog training facility in northern Michigan offering indoor agility classes and courses with all contact obstacles! This energetic sport is perfect for dogs and humans looking for a fun activity to do together. Our popular agility classes are appropriate for both pet owners looking to have fun, and competition-level agility dogs!

New to Agility?  Start with our Agility FUNdamentals class! This class introduces agility handling, targeting, and core obstacle performance.

***Please Note: ALL Agility participants must bring their own kennel and be comfortable crating your dog between turns.***

Agility Fundamentals

This introductory agility class is open to all dogs, of all ages and breeds! However, we do recommend your dog has strong obedience foundations (equivalent of Pup Scouts graduate or similar) before signing up.

Our group class environment is not appropriate for reactive or super anxious dogs. Call before signing up if you have behavior concerns about your dog - we do have other training options for them!
